Shortly about torch and modifications.
Torch is equipped with 3 or 5 high efficiency LEDs (easiest example of power would be via Watts: R2 maximum output power is approx. 5 Watts, yet that’s not very accurate measurement of light intensity). Depending on needs, for underwater exploration I would recommend 3 LED torch as it has better endurance and is cheaper. For UW photography – 5 LED torch as there is no excess light for that. Also it is possible to install 1400 mA controllers, however I’m sceptical about that. Fundamental engineering principle states – do not fix it if it is not broken. Previous version – V2 equipped with 3 R2 LED serves me for over 30 dives – I have no complains about luminous flow and working time (if we express it via Watts once more, light is more intense and running time is at lest few times longer than HID/Xenon analogues with same size battery, my diving buddies won’t let me lie about that). Outside is identical if we take 3 or 5 LED torches, only some minor differences inside – shape of reflector and LED amount.

Body - anodised D16T aluminium (most popular uses for this alloy is aviation, heavy duty parts in machinery and high pressure vessels).
Coating - protective decorative anti corrosion anodising. If necessary anodising can be with colour. It is possible not to anodise it as well however in salty water it will start to corrode.
Batteries - Lithium ion with protection from shot circuiting (not from flooding), total capacity – 12,5 Ah. Does not discharge during prolonged stand by periods and can be charged any time (without any effect to longevity). Also electronically protected from full discharge (full discharge greatly reduces longevity of Lithium ion cells). If used properly, cell effective service time is approx. 1000 charge cycles.
Charger – 2 ampere charger with full charge indication. Charge time approx. 7 hours.
Hydraulic tests - 8 bar (if I’ll find better compression chamber we can do it in 18 bar as well).
Running time - for 3 LED torch without controllers approx. 4 hours, 5 LED torch – over 2 hours. Running time should be considered as bright light, not some kind of glowing without use.

Construction - body is not disassemble-able, charging is via external connection: Unscrew tightening bolt, charge, check if sealing O-ring is not damaged screw sealing bolt back. Switch – herconic. In front of torch there are 8 M6 holes for various accessories (camera box, light filters, diffuser etc.).

Warranty – 2 years if torch is sealed by me (there will be safety indicator for unauthorised openings).

After sales service – as long as I’m alive. However construction of torch is simple enough to be serviced by entry level engineer.

Spare parts – the only one that could be needed in two years – charger jack sealing bolt O-ring, I’ll give you few spares with every torch. All other wearable parts are commercially available so with every purchase I’ll provide you with full part list if “in case of” I won’t be able to provide you with needed stock.

Manufacturing terms – up to 3 months depending on part availability.
Manufacturing conditions – it is very expensive to produce only one torch so I will start to make it with lot of at least 3. Please contact me with quotation, who knows may be your enquiry will be the third one.

Size – lenght < 200 mm, Ø 62 mm

If you would like to see how it performs and is it comfortable under water, fell free to join me for a dive somewhere around Vilnius. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
